Saarenpään lomamökit was founded in 1992. We are a small family business that is specialized in rental cabins. We also practice agriculture. We are located in beautiful and calm village Hankasalmi by the lake Hankavesi. Hankasalmi is located 70 kilometers to north-east from Jyväskylä in Central Finland.

Familys father Pekka has designed all our hand-carved log cabins and they are mainly build by our family. It is important to us that we can offer you a relaxing vacation in peacful nature surroundings. All our log cabins are located by lakeside. Pets are allowed in all of our cabins but smoking is not.

Hankasalmi can offer you many experiences. For example you can go fishing, rowing and hiking, but you can also pick berries or go mushrooming. There are lots of activities close to our cabins : golf course, ski resort, museums and summer theater and also there are lots of other things to do. Golf course and ski resort are under 20 kilometers away from the cabins. In winter cross-country skiing tracks pass the cabins under 100 meters away and if you like you can try swimming in a icy lake. After spending time out of doors it's relexing to warm up in a sauna or by the fireplace.
